Aurora vom Einzelgäger also known to many as 'Vixen', was set to be an exceptional female from the litter. Her personality was forward and open with all she encountered. She always had a thorough and methodical search with both tracking and upland field work. Her water work was just as robust and always working till she recovered a duck. During her puppy tests she excelled with ease. Fall season tests were looking just as secured and optimistic. She was my perfection of beauty, braun and brains. 

Unbeknownst at the time, she fell sick and went into an anemic autoimmune response from the rabies vaccine booster with a double tick borne illnesses (Lyme and Anaplasmosis) combining those, she couldn't finish her testing. After a several weeks of meds she was seemingly tapering off several different steroids and unfortunately she became ill again. This recourse was an abdominal obstruction. Being in a critical situation even with a high risk surgery during an immunocompromised body she was not able to beat the sepsis that over took her body. She did forever change me. For the good and the bad. Knowing the multi steroids drove her to eat unexplained things I've yet to never narrow down, her body would not recover and so we had to let her go to her maker.

Like a shooting star, that you'll never get to catch, she will always be what I'll aim for...
