Training Clinics

We are pleased to offer select working positions at our 2025 Versatile Hunting Dog Clinics in upland field work, tracking, water work, forest work, and obedience.

3 full days for a very unique teaching opportunity!

Over 22 years of professional teaching experience, and guidance from Sondra Rolison. Aiming for the finished hunting companion, in her personally designed, systematic technique. Who, and with multiple breeds successfully guided and finished many high passing dog teams through the years. This approach has provided many dogs and handlers, nationwide, clearer tracking and game recovery bringing another level of JGHV tests.

All ages, breeds, training levels welcome!

Schedule:

Tracking - May 9 -11th - Bowden, ND
Upland - May 23 – 25th - Ottsville, PA
Tracking - June 6 – 8th - Lake Ariel, PA & Forest
Water - June 13 – 15th - Lake Ariel, PA
Obedience - June 20 – 22nd - Ottsville or Mt. Pocono , PA (depending on weather)

• Philosophy, theory, and understanding the foundation followed with a Q&A
• Bettering your training relationship by having clear foundations and leash skills 
• Using e-collars appropriately
• Problem solving, retrieve issues or discipline fall out
• Starting and understanding engagement, shaping, marking, and fading rewards
• Learning your dogs drive individuality, thresholds, and nervous systems and how using it to its best qualities
• Vital benefits and misunderstanding of balanced play
