Canine Specialized Training

 Neutralization is the state the nervous system takes once it’s conditioned to successfully deal with stress. This condition is achieved through “Obstacles & Desensitization Training” in order to navigate changing environments. A series of challenging physical and mental exercises condition the dog for secure responses. The K9 pushes beyond the response to “lock up” their instincts that may be possibly weakened by genetics, certain environmental exposure or trauma . In training, obstacles represent natural circumstances taken to the extreme. By experiencing new sights and sounds and performing different exercises, you, the handler, will recognize your dogs internal thresholds. Obstacles are easy to begin with and then continue to become more rigorously demanding. 

This allows further training to be less mentally taxing. Another result is that trust between you and your K9 is recalculated through the leash connection. Starting with the primary handler and then on to other family members, your K9 partner learns to trust its new-found secure instincts by pushing through insecure responses with just “doing it“ with commitment and not by coaxing or coddling. As retention and cooperation is achieved, acceptance is accomplished when the mind learns to deal with the past environmental pressures or stresses easily.

Socialization is a controlled situation to condition positive responses. This is not accomplished through running a group allowing meetings of conflicted K9s and conflicting approaches, but with structured on leash pack walks, greetings of strangers with a multitude of public locations. the majority of negative responses are Undoubtedly the failure to communicate properly, calmly and without conflict. the handler is formally aware of any internal feelings there K9 partner may portray and may be projecting. Each socialization exercise is to the particular K9s instincts to be positive reactions to other stimuli.

Neutralization & Socialization is also a primary step in puppy development for all utility or sport dog prospects. It is a must for both simple and extreme cases.
